1. Who we are

PLINTH ("we", "us", "our") is a portfolio tracking application for small investment property owners. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app and website at plinthportfolio.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, display name, and (optionally) portfolio name.
  • Authentication data: if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email and a unique identifier from that provider. We do not receive your password.
  • Property data you enter: addresses, photos, documents, leases, tenants, payments, and notes you choose to store.
  • Subscription information: tier, status, and renewal dates. Payment details are handled by Apple and never shared with us.
  • Technical data: basic logs needed to operate the service (IP address, device type, error reports).

3. How we use your information

  • To provide the core app functionality (storing and displaying your properties, leases, and payments).
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To process and manage your subscription.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To improve the product and fix bugs.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. How your data is stored

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase (operated on AWS) with row-level security so that only you can access your records. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run PLINTH:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Apple — subscription billing and (if used) Sign in with Apple.
  • Google — Sign in with Google (if used).

We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Your rights

You can access, edit, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app. To delete your account entirely, use the in-app delete option or email us. Account deletion permanently removes all associated property, lease, and payment records.

7. Children

PLINTH is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
