1. Who we are

PLINTH ("we", "us", "our") provides free real estate investment calculators, a rental property deal analyzer, a rental analysis spreadsheet, and an optional paid PDF deal report at plinthportfolio.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the site.

2. Information we collect

  • Numbers you type into the calculators and deal analyzer: purchase price, rent, expenses, loan terms, and similar figures. These are processed in your browser to produce results. We do not require an account, and we do not ask you to identify yourself or any property.
  • Payment information: if you purchase the paid deal report, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and limited transaction details (such as the amount paid); we never see or store your full card number.
  • Communication data: if you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can respond.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and usage patterns collected through Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags.

3. How we use your information

  • To run the calculators and deal analyzer and generate your results and PDF report.
  • To process your one-time report purchase through Stripe.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To measure advertising performance and improve the product through Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their advertising.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure ad performance. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tags for this. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; the calculators will still work with cookies disabled.

5. How your data is stored

The site runs on secure cloud infrastructure, and data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not stored as a profile about you. Records of paid report purchases (transaction confirmations, not card details) are kept for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run PLINTH:

  • Our cloud hosting provider — serves the website and generates PDF reports.
  • Stripe — payment processing for the paid report.
  • Google — Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or users.

7. Your rights

Because we do not offer accounts, there is no account to access or delete. If you have emailed us or purchased a report and want your contact or transaction records deleted, email us and we will remove them within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

8. Data retention

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you. Purchase records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes. Aggregated, de-identified analytics data may be retained longer for product improvement.

9. Children

PLINTH is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the most recent revision.
